Compliance & Standards

Proactsis Controls follows and complies with a number of in-house and industry standards, processes and procedures, supporting robust and safe development.

Development Processes

Proactsis Controls’ ability to deliver control systems that work correctly and reliably is critical to our clients – our development processes are key to achieving this.

We use scalable processes that are tailored to each project, to ensure the right balance between functionality, safety and development timescales. These processes also facilitate flexibility, allowing us to adapt to changing requirements whilst still meeting project deadlines.

In-house and Client Standards

We have created and refined a full range of in-house strategy and software development standards, which we can adapt and apply to each project, in addition to working to client standards. These standards support robust development, as well as ensuring the end product is simple to adapt and/or further develop in the future, as required.

Industry Standards

We work in accordance with industry standards, both where we recognise a clear benefit in doing so, and also where compliance is mandated for a particular project.

We’re familiar with a range of industry standards, spanning standards with specific application (eg. MISRA guidelines for both hand-coded and model-based software) to those that embrace the entire development process (eg. ISO 26262 – Functional safety for road vehicles).

On-Board Diagnostics

On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) systems facilitate simple and efficient in-use diagnosis and rectification of electrical and mechanical problems.

Networking & Communication

As modern systems typically feature a number of inter-linked electronic control systems, networking and communications are of particularly high importance.
